Our History, Our Future: A Multigenerational Conference on Human Rights
Join us on April 8 for a public conference titled entitled, “Out History, Our Future: a Multigenerational Conference on Human Rights.” The schedule includes two plenary sessions, two panel sessions and a workshop offering participants nonviolent direct action training. Speakers include persons known for human rights activism during the 60s civl rights movement, the crisis in Ferguson and Baltimore, the movement for Black Lives, LGBTQ activism, scholars of the movement and serving as consultants to the White House under the Obama administration. They are gifted in ministry, music and the arts, shaping public policy, writing, peace negotiation and nonviolent direct action.
