The American University Baptist Ministry organizes its first Peace Promoting Service on February 9, 2013
The speaker is Rev. Dr. Derick Harkins, of the Nineteenth Street Baptist Church. Certainly you have the bio of Dr. Harkins. He will be talking on the theme of:
“Christians as Healers: restoring broken lives in the D. R. Congo”
The officient is Rev. Dr. Jonathan Weaver of Greater Mount Nebo AME Church, MD. Dr. Weaver is the national president of the Collective Empowerment Group, an ecumenical association composed of nearly five hundred churches engaged in economic empowerment initiatives through partnerships with banks and other businesses in their communities.
