The Rev. Joan R. Harrell, M.S., M.Div. is the producer and host of Empowering Voices. A public theologian, she received a Master of Science degree in journalism from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in New York City and Master of Divinity degree from the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
