As we are reminded of the devastating earthquake of 2010, we are concerned by the deforestation of Haiti. Tree cover of the land stands at only 2%, making Haiti the most vulnerable island of the Caribbean during the hurricane season. A vigorous reforestation program, coupled with alternative energy for cooking, is the solution. Join us as the former Ambassador of Haiti to Washington presents his vision for the greening of Haiti.
